AND SO IT BEGINS--the film for Filipinos and all others interested in real democracy in action

Be inspired. Be motivated. Watch this film "And So It Begins" by Ms. Ramona Diaz that chronicles the presidential campaign in 2022 of then Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo--a campaign that has spawned a nationwide volunteer movement, fueled by those who believe in good ideals, the "Kakampinks."

The film will be shown November 1-7, 2024 in Los Angeles.

I've watched the film itself in its run in Philippine cinemas not long ago. Be sure to watch it with a few tissues on hand. The film is the country's contender to the 97th Oscars' best international feature film. Hope the film makes it to the Oscars! #kakampinks #kakampink #Oscars2025 #mabuhay #NeverAgainNeverForget

For Philippine residents, watch PASAHERO, starring kakampink Bea Binene

Hey, fellow Filipinos, here's a spooky film for you this Halloween. "Pasahero" showing in SM Cinemas, as part of the Sindak filmfest. Stars Bea Binene, among other actors in the film. Bea is a real and proven "kakampink" (supporter of PH former Vice President [VP] Leni Robredo, even before when she ran and won as VP, and especially when Leni ran as President in 2022). So, for my fellow kakampinks, let's support this film of Bea :) NOW SHOWING!!! You can book and pay your tickets at your nearest SM Cinema or via online: https://www.smcinema.com/Browsing/Movies/Details/h-HO00000883

Summary from the cinema site: On a late-night train, seven passengers see a man harassing a woman but don’t intervene for various personal reasons. The woman, Michelle, is later assaulted. The passengers face personal misfortunes connected to the incident. Haunted by visions, Angel eventually decides to seek justice. With the help of Michelle’s ghost, the rapist is punished, and the passengers find some resolution.

Andre Yllana, Bea Binene, Louise Delos Reyes, Mark Anthony Fernandez

(Notice: I wasn't paid for this post. This is a personal post. Just doing my share for the kakampink movement in the Philippines.)
